The original website for The Centre, Livingston was held back by a clunky and overly complicated CMS, which left the client unable to update even the simplest content. The design was inconsistent and unpolished, giving a poor impression to visitors, while important features such as the interactive map had stopped working altogether. Content was patchy and incomplete, the site wasn’t mobile friendly, and technical issues like broken permalinks were damaging SEO performance. On top of all that, the framework behind the site made it slow and frustrating to use.
We rebuilt the website from the ground up in WordPress, giving the client the freedom to easily manage and add content whenever they needed. A refreshed design brought consistency and improved the user experience across the board, while a brand new interactive map restored a vital tool for visitors. The site was made fully mobile friendly, SEO was cleaned up to improve visibility, and performance was optimised so pages load quickly and smoothly. The end result was a modern, reliable, and easy-to-use website that works hard for both the client and their customers.
